Day 5--Spooner Lake Trail
The final day of hiking was an easy 3-mile loop around Spooner Lake. The trail guides discussed wildlife and flora indegious to the area.

We found a number of trees with carvings mADE by hikers. The carving would be several feet up because the tree had grown since the carving was made. The 1996 carving was about 12 feet up.

Some long dead Native American tribe used local rocks to grind grain.
