Day 3--Donner Summit

Little camping spot on summit. It's pretty windy up here, so rocks are used to provide shelter.

Skiing warning sign.
In the background you will see a covered railroad bridge. It winds around the mountain and is basically a hiking trail now.
Donner memorial located at visitor center. Snow during the Donner winter was up to the feet of the statues.
