Ranger provided us a 45-minute interpretive hike before we set off on our own.

Kilauea started emmitting significant amounts of vog (volcanic smog) about two months before we got there.

Holei Sea Arch



This is a far as we could get to live lava flow. You can see steam far off in the distance as the lava flows into the sea.
